About Me

Dr. Carina Torralba

In April 2022, I was diagnosed with breast cancer – an invasive ductal carcinoma, stage 2. Following a double mastectomy with implant reconstruction, my medical team recommended the following treatment: four chemotherapy sessions, 45 days of radiation, and ongoing oral chemotherapy medications for several years. The conventional treatment proceeded so swiftly that I had my initial, and only one, chemotherapy session without being completely certain that that was the best path for me.

After enduring that turbulent experience, which resulted in an 80% loss of my long hair, and a significant physical and emotional weakness in my immune system, I recognized that my true calling resided in the holistic approach, marking the beginning of my profound spiritual journey.

"Life is like a sea voyage. There are stormy days and calm days. The important thing is to be a good captain of our ship."

My Journey

Cancer was not a disease to me; rather, it was a blessing that directed me toward becoming the best version of myself. Today I share my experience to assist people grappling with cancer and their loved ones in recognizing that we can heal from cancer without resorting to invasive treatments. Furthermore, I strive to empower people to embrace a natural, health-conscious, and balanced lifestyle.
